More Park roads opened today as spring continues to settle onto the Park
.  The Park Tote Road is now open from Togue Pond Gate north to approximately 5 miles north of Nesowadnehunk Campground and from Matagamon Gate south and west to Trout Brook Crossing.  The Roaring Brook Road is open from Togue Pond Gate north approximately 2.5 miles to the T2R9 Township Line.

All Katahdin access trails and the Traveler Loop Trail remain closed due to ice and snow at elevation.  All other trails in the Park are open for hiking.

We expect to open more roads early next week.
